MUMPS

“Orchitis rarely causes sterility, and when it does, because
only one testicle is usually affected, the sperm production
capacity of the unaffected testicle could repopulate the world!”

                                                                                   —Robert S. Mendelsohn, M.D.

The mumps virus was isolated in 1945 and by 1948 the first killed virus vaccine was licensed.254 The vaccine was worthless and pulled from the market in the mid-1970’s.255 The current live virus-vaccine in use today was licensed in 1967 and has been known to cause parotitis, orchitis and deafness.256 The CDC reports that there have been “Several mumps outbreaks among highly vaccinated school populations” indicating that the current vaccine being used today has the same effectiveness as the original killed virus vaccine first used in 1948—it is completely worthless.257

The mumps vaccine MUMPSVAX®, licensed by Merck contains fetal bovine serum (aborted cow blood), human albumin (human blood), hydrolyzed gelatin (ground-up animal carcuses), neomycin (antibiotic), sodium chloride (table salt), sodium phosphate (toxic to any organism), sorbitol (not to be injected) and sucrose (cane sugar).258 Some of the side effects listed in the vaccine package insert were aseptic meningitis (polio), diabetes, encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), Guillain-Barre syndrome (polio), pancreatitis and death.259

There were 231 cases of mumps reported in 2001.260 Your child has about the same chance of being struck by lightning as they do of contracting mumps. The only way to acquire life-long immunity to mumps is to contract the infection naturally. Individuals born before 1957 contracted mumps naturally and have developed life-long immunity.261 Vaccinated individuals only acquire temporary immunity putting them at risk for contracting the infection later in life when complications can be more severe.
